Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01: Airport / Pinnawala / Kandy

  • arrive at bandaranaike international airport and meet our representative.
  • proceed to kandy.
  • en route visit: (pinnawala elephant orphanage).
  • founded to care for orphaned elephants found in sri lankan jungles.
  • elephants bathe twice daily in the river.
  • baby elephants under 3 years are bottle-fed.
  • main attraction: watching elephants bathe.

  • aromatic spices like cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, pepper, and mace.
  • learn about sri lanka’s ancient spice industry.

day 02: kandy / city

  • breakfast at the hotel.
  • visit the following attractions in kandy:
  • temple of tooth: (houses the left canine tooth of gautama buddha, declared a unesco world heritage site in 1988).
  • load kadhiragaman temple: (dedicated to lord kartikeya (murugan), the hindu god of war, kartikeya is son of parvati and shiva, worshipped widely in sri lanka and south india, archaeological evidence shows worship since the vedic era).
  • gem museum: (offers geological history of sri lanka and its gemstone wealth, view rare minerals and ancient fossils from the cambrian era).
  • kandy city tour includes: (gem museum art and craft center, upper lake drive (boat ride across the lake), local market visit).
  • kandy viewpoint: (highest point in kandy city, enjoy a panoramic view with cool breeze and a short scenic hike).
  • cultural show: (enjoy traditional sri lankan dance and performances).
  • dinner and overnight stay at hotel in kandy.

Day 03: kandy / nuwara eliya

  • breakfast at the hotel
  • proceed from kandy to nuwara eliya
  • en route visits
  • peradeniya botanical garden: (oldest formal garden in sri lanka, houses over 4000 plant species including orchids, spices, medicinal herbs, and palms, famous for long palm avenues and orchid collections, covers 147 acres and maintained by the department of agriculture).
  • bhakta hanuman temple: (linked to ramayana; believed to be a resting spot of lord hanuman during his search for sita devi, nearby village “ravana goda” adds to its mythological relevance, “rampadai” (tamil for ramboda) means “rama’s force”).
  • ramboda falls: (formed by ramboda oya river in a scenic valley, visible as a trio of waterfalls near the main colombo–kandy–nuwara eliya highway).
  • tea factory and plantations: (visit lush green tea estates and learn about the tea-making process, nuwara eliya is sri lanka’s prime tea-producing region).
  • nuwara eliya city tour includes: (sri lanka’s oldest post office, colonial architecture and st. xavier’s church, victoria park, nuwara eliya race course, lake gregory with paddle boats and water sports).
  • dinner and overnight stay at hotel in nuwara eliya.

Day 04: nuwara eliya / bentota

  • breakfast at the hotel.
  • visit the following key attractions before heading to bentota:
  • sita amman temple: (believed to be the site where sita devi was held captive by king ravana, a nearby stream is said to have been used by sita for bathing, hanuman's footprints and black soil (believed to be from when hanuman burnt the area) are notable features, ancient idols were found in the stream about a century ago).
  • ashokavanam / ashoka vatika: (the garden where sita chose to stay instead of ravana’s palace, provided shelter and comfort under a symbolic ashoka tree, believed to have been partially destroyed by lord hanuman during his rescue mission, sita remained here until the end of the battle between rama and ravana).
  • transfer to bentota.
  • en route visit
  • turtle hatchery: (conservation project to protect sea turtles from extinction, nurtures eggs until the turtles are 2 to 4 years old, home to species like green turtle, leatherback, and olive ridley).

Day 05: bentota / city area / colombo

  • breakfast at the hotel.
  • enjoy a city tour of bentota.
  • optional water sports & beach activitie: (bentota is known as sri lanka’s top water sports destination on the west coast).
  • enjoy activities like: (river cruises, diving & snorkeling, water skiing, speed boating, kite surfing & windsurfing, banana boating & tubing).
  • top locations: bentota beach, aturuwella, and bentota river.
  • guided experiences available at bentota water sports centre and river adventures.
  • madhu river safari: (a scenic boat safari along madu ganga and bentota river).

  • transfer to colombo.

Day 06: colombo / airport

  • breakfast at the hotel.
  • proceed to the airport for departure.
  • en route enjoy a panoramic colombo city tour, covering:
  • sightseeing highlights: (galle face green, kovil (hindu temple), viharamahadevi park, national museum, twin world trade center towers, old parliament building, fort district, independence hall at independence square, prominent places of worship (buddhist, hindu, islamic, and christian), note: entrance fees to sites are not included).
  • dinner and overnight stay at hotel in colombo.
  • shopping options: (odel, house of fashion, beverly street, majestic city, noritake showroom).

  • Any damages caused by guest / corporate to hotel property or item while at a stay, the guest/ corporate will have to settle the charges of the claim made by the hotel directly. Travel agents will not be liable for any claims made by guests or hotel

  • Hotel Check-In/Out: Standard check-in is between 2:00–3:00 PM; check-out by 12:00 PM. Early check-in/late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Bookings & Availability: All bookings are subject to availability. Airfares are dynamic and may change at the time of booking.
  • Transfers: Pick-ups between 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM may have extra charges.
  • Room Policy: Max two adults per room. Triple occupancy may involve roll-away beds.
  • Child Policy: Children 10+ years are charged as adults by hotels.
  • Hotel Preferences: We recommend reviewing hotel photos and reviews before confirming. Changes are subject to hotel cancellation policies.
  • Damage & Liability: Any damage to hotel/transport during the trip is the traveler’s responsibility.
  • Passport & Visa: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months. Visa on arrival is subject to immigration discretion.
  • Flights: Airfare changes/cancellations are per airline policy. Name errors will incur amendment fees. Buzz Holidayz is not liable for delays or changes by airlines.
  • Meals: All Indian meals are fixed-menu; no à la carte.
  • Itinerary Changes: Company reserves rights to modify the itinerary due to weather, closures, or unforeseen events. Unused services are non-refundable.
  • Sightseeing: Tours depend on local conditions. No refunds for missed visits due to closures or delays.
  • Refunds: Processed within 20 working days. Payment gateway fees (2.5%–6%) are non-refundable.
  • Payment Terms: Online payments incur transaction charges. Ensure correct name/spelling as per passport while booking.
  • Behavior: Avoid overconsumption of alcohol during travel, especially during immigration procedures.
  • Cancellation Policy: All changes/cancellations must be in writing. Charges apply as per Buzz Holidayz and vendor policies.
  • Responsibility: Buzz Holidayz is not liable for delays, losses, or events beyond control (e.g. weather, strikes, natural calamities).
